Sometimes it's not the sharpness of the image. Maybe it's not even the right lens being used. Lens flares everywhere. And not everything is in focus. Or nothing is in focus per se, for that matter.

Yet, it's an image that takes you back.
Takes you back to that certain place and time.

You smell the salty Pacific sea breeze.
You feel the warmth of the afternoon sun.

It's a precious image, nonetheless. One that not necessarily captures a smile, but rather captures the essence of the moment. Such was this image. A single frame. One that I wouldn't trade for the world.
