I miss the days when I get to go to Austin, Texas, for a few days on business trip.  I don't miss the business, and the stress associated with it.  I don't miss the weather, or the humidity, or the often "flash downpour."

What I do miss, though, is the authentic Texan barbecue.

Well, it just so happen that apparently Silicon Valley is a place of many tastes and cuisines.  Culinary specialty from all over the world ends up here.  So why not a good ol' fashion barbecue joint, right?  The other day, I just happen to find one not too far from my fiancé's home. The joint is called Dickey's, and I must say, for a minute there I thought I was back down in Texas, y'all.‎  Now it may not be real Texan barbecue, but I'd say it's pretty darn close, and as authentic as it gets on the West side.   Great stuff and it was definitely good eatin'. B-)
