{ Festival Of Colors } | A.Celebration.In.Shades.Of.Gray

I started out photography in the dark room in shades of gray.  That is to say that I got introduced to the genre that later became my passion by shooting and processing black and white images.

This past weekend, I was privileged to be able to attend a very busy and colorful festival meant for the community. It was a free event purely operated by hundreds of volunteers, just to bless the families in the surrounding neighborhood.

But for some reason, the photographs that ended up speaking to me the most were the ones that were...yup - you guessed it...done in black and white.

Here are a few of the shots that resonated with me.  All were taken via the X100S except for the last image, which was taken with the X-E1 and the 60mm combo.  Baseline film emulations courtesy of VSCO.

Have an awesome week, and Happy Shooting! B-)
