{ Being Thankful } | Lesson.From.Hunting.Crêpe.


I must admit. The greatest lesson I have received in life is learning how to be thankful in all circumstances. There is something about gratefulness that uplifts the spirit. We are truly blessed living here in the U.S. There is always someone in a much dire situation than we are somewhere in the world.

I was hunting for crêpes with my love the other day, and I realized that we could literally eat any flavor of the world within a 30 mile radius of where we live in the South SF Bay.

A bowl of Vietnamese phở - no problem.
In the mood for a Brazilian Churrascaria rodizio - no problem.
Far East Singaporean fusion- no problem.
A little bit of Malay awesomeness - no problem.
Some good old fresh-off-the-grill hamburger goodness - no problem.
Or how about an Italian "la buona cucina" - no problem.
Some French crêpes that we were craving - no problem.

It may not be as good as if I were eating it directly across from the Eiffel, but we settled for Crepes Cafe - they even served them gluten free...galettes-style made out of buckwheat.

I am beyond thankful. Thankfulness - it is the key to contentment.
