{ Hospital Trip } | When.Life.Wakes.You.Up.

I had a bit of a scare a couple of days back. Life has just got that way of waking you up once in a while. Out of the blue, my toes began to swell up in the evening. By the time I got to bed, the right were much larger than the left.

The next day: I could hardly walk.

I went to work anyways...limping my way into the office to take care of some business. But I called my doctor to inform him of the pain and the situation, and he advised that I come in as soon as possible. So, an appointment was set and I took the remainder of the afternoon off to focus on my health.

I had my X100S with me. I was limping, that much was true. It was somewhat of a blessing in disguise because I took my time to get to the doctor's office located on the third floor of the hospital...this gave me the opportunity to observe, stop, and take these snaps throughout the hospital building.

One thing I was grateful for is that I can still have this little beast of a camera with me and not feel that it was adding any weight at all. It was clear: my herniated disk lodged in my back - and now my limping foot - thanked Fuji for making such a great little camera that I can take everywhere to document life as it happens...even if it means a trip to the hospital as a wake up call of sorts. ;)
