Another sixty-six degrees eff kind of Spring day again today...here in sunny Northern California.
It was a seemingly perfect day in the West Coast, I had to make a ten minute detour during lunch time to the marsh land on the southern tip of the San Francisco Bay to take a few images before heading back to the concrete-corporate-cubicle-land-of-a-jungle that is the office. I grabbed my X100S with the WCL-X100 wide angle adaptor on it and started to walk a bit.
It was nice. A breath of fresh air. It was windy, but calm at the same time. Peaceful...
That is until I head back to the office when one of my co-workers told me about the bombing at the Boston Marathon. Insanity! I couldn't wrap my head around it. How could anyone be so angry that they would attempt to take the innocent lives of others? That's just beyond me.
But I stopped.
For a moment.
And said a prayer.
May the peace that goes beyond understanding reign over the families of the victims and those who were injured.
My thoughts and prayers are going out to them.
