{ The Next Gens } | A.Match.Made.In.Heaven.

It's finally here!

I haven't been this excited for the release of a Fujifilm product since the launch of the X-Pro1.  The gods at Mt. Fujifilm have finally heard our prayers and lo and behold...the long awaited cousin to the X-Brotherhood that is X-T1 has finally arrived to usher in the next generation (or evolution) of the X-series.  And I was ecstatic to find that this beast of a photographic machine is the first in the market that supports the UHS-II memory card.

So when SanDisk's latest Extreme Pro UHS-II SDHC Memory Card arrived this week, I couldn't help but mate the two together straight away and took a few shots to see what this combo can do.  The result?

Oh...Em...Gee.
I was just blown away.

With the X-T1 set at CH mode, these two worked so well together that I could hardly tell that there exist a buffer at all!  Kudos to Fujifilm once again for continuing to have the foresight to support a next generation memory card format that actually makes sense! (Ehem, Nikon and XQD?)

X-T1 + SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-II = A Match Made in Heaven.

And I am a happy camper. ;)

UPDATE:   Headed to Yosemite National Park this weekend to take this combo through its paces.  Images coming soon.  Happy shooting, everyone! :)
