It's a wonderful blue weekend here in San Francisco Bay.

Clear skies.
Sunny day.

Just a perfect day - it couldn't get any prettier.  So I just had to take a break. Still doing my taxes and from the looks of it...I'm owing Uncle Sam quite a bit this year. But I decided to clear my head and dashed outdoors with the convertible top down.  Feeling the warmth on my forehead, the wind on my "faux-hawk", and the Sun reflecting upon my Oakley Pit Boss. B-)

Life is meant to be savored. The good. The bad. The challenges. The triumphs.  I stopped at this nearby park, looked up at the blue sky, and just had to get my X-gear out. I just love how my X100S renders the blue sky, and how the thin white layers of clouds are exquisitely captured.

I remembered that not so long ago I had to go through a change of seasons of sorts in my own life. These leaf-less trees kind of reminded me of where I was. But my heart is filled with gratefulness, because in the midst of it all, there was always hope...and Spring is around the corner.  It doesn't get rid of my obligations to Uncle Sam, but I do feel a bit better at the prospect of what lies ahead in the future.  Things are going to get better.

An ancient book once said:

What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.

Spring. I long for Spring to fully blossom.  Cheers from Northern Cali.  Savor the day where ever you are! B-)
